SMITH
Zada Faye Smith, 73, of Shawnee, KS, died Sunday, July 2, 2006 at an Overland Park Hospital. She was born February 25, 1933 in Circleville, KS, the daughter of Walter and Grace Clemetson Snyder. She was a graduate of Circleville High School.
Mrs. Smith worked in real estate and insurance sales and served as district manager for Avon. She was a member of The Village Church in Prairie Village, KS.
She was married to Paul Wesley Smith. They were later divorced. Survivors include her daughter, Ardith "Sunshine" Smith of K.C., MO; her sons, Bruce Wesley Smith and his wife, Cinde, of Topeka, KS and Rex Alan Smith and his wife, Verna, of Derby, KS; her sisters, Cleo Alfrey of Topeka, KS and Joyce Boyle of Shelbyville, KY; her brother, Milton Snyder of Carbondale, KS; her grandchildren, Jeff and Jennifer Corfman and Ryan, Dylan, Drake, Kelly and Tanner Smith; and her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Chayse and Jeff Corfman, Jr.; and her close friend, Donna Fowler.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at the Circleville Cemetery near Circleville, KS. The cemetery is located 6 miles west of Holton on Hwy 16, then 3 miles north on Hwy 79, one mile west on 254th Rd. and a half mile south on J Rd.
