Yvonne Irene Cox, 47, of Hiawatha, KS, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 in Hiawatha. She was born January 16, 1973 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Stanley Minter and Alice Irene (Heiniger) Robbins.

Yvonne graduated from Holton High School in 1992 and an online AM Broadcasting School in Oklahoma. She had lived 8 years in Hiawatha and previously in Holton.

She worked for Walmart in Hiawatha as a cashier and in the deli for 7 years; she was employee of the month in 2018. Yvonne worked for Sac and Fox Casino and for USD 425 Elementary in the cafeteria.

She married Scott W. Cox on December 30, 2016 at Lakeview Faith Chapel in Holton; he survives of the home. Other survivors include her step-father, Jimmy Robbins of Holton, KS; ½ brother, James Robbins of Denison, KS.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Robbins; father, Stanley Minter; brother, James Minter and ½ sister, Chanale Minter.

Memorial Graveside Service will be at a later date at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Mercer Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
