Wilma Gibson, 93, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at a Topeka hospital. She was born November 16, 1913 in Circleville. She was the daughter of Ellsworth and Emma Nelson Glick. She was a farmwife and had worked at Slimaker Dress Factory. She was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star in Circleville.
Wilma married Orlan Gibson on December 12, 1929 in Topeka. He survives. She is also survived by a son, Allan Gibson of Tucson, AZ; sister, Marjorie West Santa Rose,CA; brother, Paul Glick of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Gibson.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Inurnment will be in the Holton Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be given to Circleville United Methodist Church or Beck-Bookman Library sent in c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
