BUTLER

Wilma Jean Butler, 83, of Holton, died Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Medicalodges Holton.
She was born August 12, 1923 in Courtland, Kansas, the daughter of Martin and Hannah Peterson Larson. She graduated from Courtland High School in 1941. She had lived in Topeka before moving to Holton in 1967. She was a homemaker.
She was married to Robert F. Butler on October 29, 1945 in Topeka. He died June 16, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her son, Lonnie D. Butler on September 19, 1998 and by her grandson, Randy Arnold on June 19, 2002. Survivors include her son, Donald R. Butler and his wife, Sandi of Holton, her daughter, Laura J. "Jeannie" Arnold and her husband, Bob of Circleville, 4 sisters, Edna Dicke, Edythe Coleman and Winifred Krueger all of Topeka and Delores Long of Garden City, 3 grandchildren; Lori Burdick and Korey and Justin Butler and 2 great-granddaughters; Bailey and Afton Burdick.
Services for Mrs. Butler will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
