William Riley "Bill" Calwell, 107, of Topeka, passed away on July 16, 2015, at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. He was born June 25, 1908 in Wetmore, Kansas and was the oldest man in Kansas at the time of his death.
A celebration of Bill's life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 in Wesley Hall at Aldersgate Village. Prior to the celebration, a luncheon will be held at 12:00 p.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka. Memorials are suggested to Christ Lutheran Church or Aldersgate Village and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton 66436.
