Wanda Lee (Lundin) Phillips

SOLDIER- Wanda Lee (Lundin) Phillips, 79, of Gulfport, MS, formerly of Soldier, KS passed away Saturday, October 03, 2009 at Medicalodges Jackson County in Holton. She was born June 23, 1930 in Soldier, KS, the daughter of Pleasant Harold and Margarette Stella Manis Winters.
Wanda had lived in Panama for several years before moving to the Gulfport area nearly 30 years ago. She had worked for years as a hairdresser.
She was married to Frank "Jack" Lundin and they were divorced. She later married Bill Phillips and they were also divorced.
She is survived by her sons, Jackie Lundin (Nancy) of Circleville, KS and Gary Lundin of Ozawkie, KS; her sister, Patricia Meyer of Lopez Island, WA; her brother, Delbert Simecka of Belvue, KS; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Lundin, Angela Mullins, Tanya Ahlgren, Eric and Chad Lundin and 3 great-grandsons, Tyler, Kyle and Jackson Ahlgren.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Valley View Cemetery in St. Marys, KS. The family will greet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS.
