Vivian A. Auten

Vivian Ann Auten, 77, of Holton, KS, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 at Onaga Health and Rehab. She was born January 29, 1949 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Milford L. and Beverly A. (Campbell) Scheid.

Vivian attended Holton High School and later earned her Certified Nurse Aide certification. She worked as a CNA for local nursing homes.

She was of the Lutheran faith.

She married Glenn Auten on August 31, 1985; they later divorced.

Survivors include her 3 children, Ronald T. Reiff (Vicki) of Atchison, KS, Rhonda A. Wheeler of Holton, KS and Anita J. Reiff of Topeka, KS; sister, Delores Wessel (David) of Holton, KS and 5 grandchildren, Sara E. Reiff, Haley N. Reiff, Joshua L. Reiff, Jonathan L. Wheeler and Emily R. Howard; 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Beverly Scheid and 3 brothers, Tony, Floyd and Donald Scheid and a sister, Roxann Howerton.
