SHIVERS
HOLTON– Virginia Helen Shivers, 94, of Holton, KS died Tuesday, March 06, 2007 in Topeka. She was born August 3, 1912 in Circleville.
She graduated from Holton High School in 1930. She had worked as a bookkeeper. She married Otto Thomas Shivers on June 6, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ. He preceded her in death on January 2, 1997. She was also preceded by a son, Alan Shivers on July 13, 1981. Virginia is survived by a son, Don Shivers of Seattle, WA; daughters, Mary B. Shivers of Topeka, KS and Karen S. Latham of Pearland, TX; and two granddaughters.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the C.A.T. Association c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. Online condolences are available at www.mercerfuneralhomes.com
