Victoria S. Jones, 68, Holton, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
She was born June 17, 1951, in Doniphan, MO, the daughter of Walter J. and Lucille I. Moore Sayers. She graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, KS in 1969.
Victoria was a security guard officer at Lansing State Penitentiary and worked at a prison clothing manufacturing company at Reeds Spring Junction, MO. She served as secretary for the Auxiliary of Grahem-Herbers Post 3084 V.F.W. in Valley Falls. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, caring for her family.
On July 20, 1985, Victoria married David I. Jones in Miami, OK. They shared 34 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband, David, of the home; two sons, Eddie (Tracie) Phillips, and Michael (Abby) Ross, all of Belton, MO; one daughter, Danielle (Chris) Mayhew, Holton; three brothers, Larry Dean Sasse, Waco, TX, and Daniel (Sheri) VanHoozier, and Joe Sayers, all of Valley Falls; one sister, Paula (Roger) Dill, McLouth; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter J. Sayers, Sr., and her sister, Debbie Phillips.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2019 at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Inurnment will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery.
