Travis Michael Ketron, 34, of Holton, KS passed away December 14, 2016. He was born March 19, 1982 in Holton, the son of James Daniel Ketron and Vonda Sue Utterback.

Travis had lived in Holton and Sparta, WI. He had worked for McDonald and Owen Lumber Yard in Sparta, WI. Travis also worked for Paul Strube Monument and Tara's Produce, both in Holton.

Survivors include his mother, Vonda Utterback of Sparta, WI; his father and step-mother, Jim and Lynda Ketron of Holton, KS; 4 sisters, Tara Elliott of Holton, KS, Tenille Utterback of Sparta, WI, Sara Ketron of Tacoma, WA and Virginia Ketron of Tacoma, WA; his brother, Robert Utterback of Lacrosse, WI; maternal grandmother, Peggie Zirger of Topeka, KS; maternal grandfather and grandmother, Stuart and Luann Schultz of Cataract, WI; a special friend, Liberty Bell of Sparta, WI and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jim and Ruthann Ketron and 2 maternal step-grandfathers, Fred Zirger and Kenny Levitt.

A Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Travis Ketron Memorial Fund to be designated for a suicide prevention program c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
