Topeka- Tony R. Petersen, 52, of Topeka, KS passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born August 23, 1955 in Topeka, KS the son of Leland H. and Leah Spiker Petersen.
He attended Highland Park High School in Topeka. He was a taxi cab driver for Capitol City Taxi in Topeka. He had been a farmer/stockman at Granada and Holton.
Survivors include a brother, Duane L. Petersen, Perry; two sisters Vicki Umscheid, Perry and Kris Serrault, Topeka; an uncle, Quentin Spiker, Hiawatha; three aunts, L'Wanda Brungardt, Topeka, Loyola Reitnor, Holton and Dorothy Hatch, Waverly, NE and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
