Tomas Perez Castro, 33, of Norman, OK, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Norman, OK. He was born February 5, 1989 in Joyaba, Quiche, Guatemala the son of Domingo Perez Mejia and Juana Castro (Perez).

Tomas had lived in the Oklahoma area for 6 months; he previously lived in Holton and Minnesota. He had lived in the United States for 11 years working as a laborer at numerous packing plants. Tomas enjoyed watching and participating in soccer.

Survivors include his parents, Domingo Perez and Juana Castro Perez of Joyaba, Quiche, Guatemala; 4 sisters, Maria Perez Castro of Holton, KS, Juana, Josefa and Dominga Perez Castro all of Guatemala and 2 brothers, Migel Perez Castro of Holton, KS and Manuel Perez Castro of Guatemala.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Guatemala. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
