Thelma Luella Immenschuh, 93, of Topeka, KS formerly of Holton, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home she shared with her daughter. She was born March 10, 1920 in rural Carbondale, the daughter of Jess W. and Effie Mae (Beam) Hoy.
Thelma had also lived in the Carbondale and Oskaloosa communities. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She married Roscell "R.J." "Butch" Immenschuh on March 4, 1940 in Bartlesville, OK. He preceded her in death on February 19, 2008. She was also preceded in death by a son, Warren L. Immenschuh in 2007.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Nancy F. MacEachern of Asheboro, NC and Melva K. Taylor of Topeka, KS; a son, Larry L. Immenschuh of Soldier, KS; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery.
