Tasha Rochelle Arketa, 29, passed away May 12, 2013 in Carbondale, KS as a result of a car accident. She was born December 17, 1983 in Santa Rosa, CA the daughter of Ronald L. Arketa and Brenda S. Shores.
Tasha had lived in the Holton community for 4 years and had previously lived in Washington. She received her CNA at Highland Community College. Tasha had worked at the Sabetha Manor for about 3 years.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Ron and Brenda Cook of Whiting, KS; 2 sons, Skylar and Bentley Arketa both of the home; a sister, Shandi Arketa of Chico, CA; 2 brothers, Vincent Arketa of Marysville, WA and Brandon Arketa of Woodinville, WA; maternal grandmother, Carol Shores of Woodinville, WA and step-grandmother, Maxine Cook of Holton, KS.
Tasha was cremated. Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Skylar and Bentley Arketa Education Fund.
