Tambra "Tammy" M. Martin

Tambra Michella “Tammy” Martin, 67, of Holton, Kansas passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026 at The Pines in Holton. She was born on October 24, 1959, in Topeka, Kansas, to Ralph Jerome Martin Jr. and Katherine May “Kitty” (Corwin) Holmes.

Tammy worked for many years in Topeka for Gas Service Co, then later for Personalized Brokerage Services. She also spent several years working for American Pre-Sort in Topeka.

She married Clinton Dick in 1977, they later divorced.

Tammy was a proud member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. Throughout her life, she was connected to family and friends who will remember her in their own special ways.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Katherine “Kitty” Holmes of Gainesville, GA; her stepmother, Denise Martin of Loganville, GA; her two sons, Jack Martin (Becky) and Jesie Dick, both of Holton, KS; her three sisters, Victoria Bickford of Gainesville, GA, Robin Rieschick of Holton, KS and Jennifer Davis (Daniel) of Monroe, GA; and her four brothers, Gregg Martin (Heather) of Covington, GA, Jerry Martin (Diana) Covington, GA, Matthew Martin (Kati) of Loganville, GA, and Benjamin Holmes of Winder, GA. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Jerome Martin Jr.

A public celebration of Tammy’s life will take place at The Courtyard Event Center, located on the east side of the Holton square at 426 Pennsylvania Ave, Holton, Ks on Friday, November 27th at 5:00pm.
