Sue Utterback Tucking, 74, of Holton, formerly of Topeka, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at Medicalodge Jackson County in Holton.

She was born October 4, 1940 in Chanute, Kansas the daughter of Theodore H. and Luella M. (Wanner) Utterback. She graduated from Holton High School in 1958 and had worked several years for Dr. Robert Godwin as a Doctors Assistant and later retired from Hawkins Optical.

She is survived by: her daughters, Tiffany (Robert) Steele of Topeka, KS and Tammy (Robert) Turner of Hudson, WI; her sister, Joan Wade of Holton, KS; her 7 grandchildren, Haulston, Saylor and Saige Steele, Jennifer (Jon) Evens and Jessica, Robbie and Jaeden Turner; and her 8 great-grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by an infant brother, her step brother, Robert Utterback and her granddaughter, Jaime Turner.

It was Sue's wish to be cremated. Inurnment will be private and held at a later date in Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Helping Hands Humane Society and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270 Holton, 66436.
