STEVEN TROXEL

HOYT- Steven Lamar Troxel, 42, of Hoyt, KS died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at his home. He was born August 27, 1963 in Long Beach, CA, the son of John Junior and Lois Elaine Martin Troxel.
Steven had lived in the Hoyt community since 1976 and graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1981. He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 to 1987. He later worked at Noller Ford Truck Center in Topeka for several years.
He was married to Dana Simpson in Hoyt. They were later divorced. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lois Troxel. Survivors include his daughters, Tanya simpson and Tiffany Troxel both of Topeka, KS; his brother, John Lee Troxel, Sr. of Hoyt, KS; and his sister, Tina Lyman of Burnett, KS.
Mr. Troxel was cremated. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Hoyt United Methodist Church in Hoyt, KS. Inurnment will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery.
