Staci Shughart-Sieve, 33, Topeka, formerly of Valley Falls, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning, June 9, 2013, at the Stormont-Vail ER in Topeka.

She was born on April 10, 1980, at Atchison, the daughter of Gary L. and DiAnn R. Kinney Shughart. She attended Atchison County Community High School in Effingham and later earned her GED. She received her LPN degree at the Northeast Kansas Technical College in Atchison.

Staci was a homemaker and was working as a LPN at Grifols Bio-Mat in Topeka.

She married Ryan Sieve on July 17, 2006, at Oskaloosa. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Raymond and Jessie Frakes Shughart and Joe Kinney.

Survivors include her husband, Ryan, of the home; three sons, Tanner Brown, Lancaster, and twin sons, Aiden and Alex Sieve, also of the home; her parents, Gary and DiAnn Shughart, Lancaster; her brother, Ward Shughart, Atchison; two sisters, Kathy Lewman, Cummings, and Wendy Miller, Atchison; grandparents, Jim & Dixie Ross, Independence, MO; father-in-law Pat (Julie) Sieve, Valley Falls; mother-in-law, Jean Mosher, Topeka; and grandparents-in-law, Jerry and Phillis Cowan, Valley Falls; and Linus and Reva Deters, Seneca.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Cremation will follow and interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Valley Falls at a later date.
