Sondra Jay (Walker) Sullivan, 86, of Valley Falls, KS, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Medicalodge Atchison in Atchison, KS. She was born November 1, 1938 in Salina, KS. The daughter of Willard and Della (Christ) Walker.

Sondra graduated from Salina High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS in Art Education. She also received a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO and another Masters in Art Therapy from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS. She enjoyed teaching others and creating art her entire life.

She married Terry Wade Sullivan, April 11, 1968 in Wichita, KS. He proceeded her in death on April 4, 2024 after 54 years of marriage. She was also proceeded in death by her parents; her sisters Karen Sue Peters, Gayle Walker, Pamela Walker, and brothers Dean Walker and Dalton Walker.

Survivors include, twin daughters Presha Emmert (Brock) of Alma, KS and Camille Sullivan (Jay Stevens) of Parkville, MO; granddaughter Cecelia Emmert of Manhattan, KS; sisters Winona Gamino (Al) of Gilroy, CA and Debra
Weaver (Bill) of Salina, KS; 5 nieces and 2 nephews.
