OSTERTAG

HOLTON- Shaun Michael Ostertag, 22, of Holton, died Friday, March 3, 2006 in an auto accident east of Holton.
He was born July 15, 1983 in Atchison County, Kansas, the son of Guy Michael Ostertag and Nancy Sue Pennington Myer. He graduated from Holton High School in 2001. He was on the State Championship wrestling teams at both Holton and Effingham. He had lived in the Holton community for the past 6 years.
Shaun was employed by the Alamo Group in Holton. He had previously worked for Northwest Pipe in Atchison and for the Golden Eagle Casino. He was a member of the Poker Club.
Survivors include his parents, Guy and Vonda Ostertag of Atchison and Nancy Myer of Holton, his daughters, Ryleigh Gene Ostertag and Ramsey Elaine Ostertag both of the home, his fiancé, Melissa Kendrick of the home, his sisters, Lisa Marie Myer of Holton and Leslie Ostertag of Atchison, his brother, Russell Ostertag of Atchison, grandparents, Eleanor and Roy Ostertag of Atchison, Mary and Clifford Pennington of Atchison, and great-grandmother, Dorothy Ostertag of Atchison. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Gene Pennington in 1999.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in Holton Cemetery.
