HOLTON- Sharon LeAnn Browning, 78, of Holton, KS passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Stormont Vail Hospital. She was born November 4, 1939 in Holton, the daughter of Earl and Frances (Ridgeway) Browning.


Sharon attended Holton Elementary and Holton Junior High Schools. She was disabled all of her life. Sharon was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Phyllis J. Martin of Topeka, KS, Diane Levick (Bobby) of Holton, KS and Brenda Horton of Carthage, TX; 2 brothers, Ronald Browning (Margie) of Topeka, KS and Jim Browning (Beverly) of Portland, OR and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Browning.

Graveside Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Holton Cemetery. She will lie in state at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. The family will greet friends from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning at the funeral home and follow in procession to the cemetery.
