RYAN EDWIN GUNTHER

Ryan Edwin Gunther, 24, Valley Falls, died Friday, June 6, 2008, as a result of injuries from a single vehicle accident east of Valley Falls.
He was born Oct. 15, 1983, at Holton, the son of Bruce and Tamah Boyce Gunther. He graduated from Valley Falls High School in 2002.
He had worked as a warehouseman at the K-Mart Distribution Center in Lawrence.
Ryan loved his family and his friends. He had a deep love of humanity, music, the arts and the outdoors.
Survivors include his parents, Bruce Gunther, Topeka, and Tamah Boyce Gunther, Holton; a brother, Craig Gunther, Valley Falls; paternal grandparents, Clair and Marie Gunther, Mayetta; maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Mary Boyce, Valley Falls; many uncles, aunts and cousins and a special goddaughter, Lillian Darveaux.
A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the Valley Falls City Park. Cremation will follow and burial will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
