Roxann Louise Howerton, 68, of Holton, KS, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at her home with family by her side. She was born April 3, 1956 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Milford Lewis and Beverly Ann (Campbell) Scheid.

Roxann earned her Certified Nurse's Aide and worked many years at Jackson County Nursing Home (now Medicalodge Jackson County). She had also worked for Oldham's as a stuffer operator and 1 year at Sac and Fox Casino.

She married Roger A. Bohannon on October 19, 1973 in Holton, KS. He preceded her in death in March 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Beverly Scheid; 3 brothers, Tony, Floyd and Donald Scheid and granddaughter, Angel Mary Beecham.

Survivors include her daughter, Nikki L. Beechman (Michael) of Holton, KS; step-daughter, Wendy Ehrhart (Ben) of Mayetta, KS; 2 sisters, Vivian Auten of Topeka, KS and Deloris Wessel (David) of Holton, KS and 2 step-grandchildren, Gretchen and John.
