Rosie Ann Larrison, of Holton, KS passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Vintage Park in Holton. Rosie lived 96 years, 11 months, 29 days and 22 hours. She was born May 15, 1914 in Holton, KS, the daughter of Ross and Elizabeth Nelson Wilson. She was a graduate of Holton High School in 1931.
Rosie was a farm wife and later had worked for several years as a Nurse's Aide at the Holton Hospital until she retired. She was a 4-H Leader for the Pleasant Valley Rustlers, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Happy Workers Neighborhood Club.
Rosie was married to Donald Larrison on October 7, 1935 in Seneca, KS. He passed away in November of 1998. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Wilmer Wilson and her sister, Hazel Young. She is survived by her son, Stanley Larrison and his wife, Donna, of Coweta, OK; her daughter, Charlotte Utz and her husband, Kenny, of Holton, KS; her grandchildren, Robin, Bill, Aaron, Scott and Kathleen and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Holton Vintage Park LLC staff c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
