Rose M. Moe, 99, of Manhattan, KS, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. She was born in Sioux City, Iowa, July 29, 1921, the daughter of Polish immigrants, John and Mary (Pyrc) Tryszczyla.  She grew up in the South Bottoms area of Sioux City and attended St. Francis grade school.

She married Robert Moe on July 6,1941. In 1964 they moved to Valley Falls, KS.  He died May 7, 1995.  She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden.

Survivors include grandchildren James R. Moe, Jason Moe, Michael Moe, Hilary Allman, Ethan Moe, Lee Eggert and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her three children Kevin, Damian and Charmagne, brothers John and Stanley, sisters Mary, Tillie, Stella, and Edna.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Meriden. Burial will follow at the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
