SHUCKAHOSEE
Mayetta-- Robin Adrian "Wab-shek-ak" Shuckahosee, 46, of Mayetta died Saturday, May 20, 2006 Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born February 8, 1960 in Holton, the son of Isaac and Ruby M. Wabnum Shuckahosee. He attended Royal Valley High School.
Robin lived most of his life in the Mayetta and Topeka Communities and worked construction. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include a daughter Cassie Shuckahosee of Mayetta; 2 sisters Leatrice Noriega of Topeka, Alexis Bailey of Mesquite, TX; 3 brothers Leslie Shuckahosee of Mayetta, Joe Garcia of Horton and Wilson Garcia, Jr. of Junction City.
Drum services will be Wednesday evening, May 24, 2006 at the Danceground Building in Mayetta. Burial will be Thursday afternoon at the Mitchell Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences are available at www.mercerfuneralhomes.com.
