Rita A. Moriello, 70, of Mayetta, KS passed on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born April 4, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Ann Origitano.

Rita grew up in Chicago, IL, and later moved to Ft. Myers, FL from 1992-1996 and had lived in Mayetta, KS since 2003. She owned and operated a cleaning service with her loving husband.

She was a member of the Holton congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Rita married Guy C. Moriello on September 8, 1991 in Chicago, IL. He survives. Other survivors include 2 daughters, Debbie Mall (George) of Topeka, KS and Laura Vitrano of Holton, KS; 2 sons, Robert Lange (Corie) of Mayetta, KS and Bill Harrison (Mary) of Naperville, IL; 4 sisters, Carol Sykes, Geri McKeown, Marie White (Ken) and Kitty Bayrn; 3 brothers, Robert Capparelli, Dominic Basile and Frank Basile and 8 grandchildren, Thomas Vitrano, Robbie, Ryan and Rory Lange and Krystal, Abigail, Jeremiah and Mark Harrison. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark and Dominic Lange and her grandson, Dominic Vitrano in 2005.

Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends starting at 2:00 p.m. until service time. Rita will be cremated after the funeral service. Inurnment will be at a later date.
