HOLTON- Ricky Dean Hyatt, 49, of Holton, KS passed away November 8, 2008 at the Holton Community Hospital. He was born April 5, 1959 in Onaga, KS the son of Everett L. and Olive L. Place Hyatt.
Ricky was a mechanic, known as "Grease Monkey". He worked in bridge construction and he played a guitar for local bands early in his life.
He was a lifelong member of the Holton community and was baptized as a child at the First United Methodist Church in Holton.
Ricky married Debbie Bryan. They divorced. He later married and divorced Angie Rawlings and Jackie Martin. He was engaged to marry Tracy Curran early next year.
Survivors include his fiancé, Tracy Curran of the home; his parents, Everett and Olive Hyatt of Holton; 3 daughters, Cassie Harder and her husband, William and Crystalynn Hyatt all of Holton, Stephanie Rawlings of Topeka; a son, Trae Hyatt and his wife, Jodi of Lawrence; a brother, Randy Hyatt of Holton and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Grayson Harder.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Olive Hill Cemetery.
