Richard Creighton Hall, 82, of Holton, passed away November 19, 2006 at a Topeka hospital. He was born in Gary, In on December 23, 1923 to Albert and Ida Marie Anderson Hall.
Richard married Joan Ann Fraser on September 10, 1946 in Compton, CA. She survives. He is also survived by Joan's sisters, Joan's brother, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Compton High School and Compton Junior College. He had moved to Holton from Yucca Valley, CA in 2003. He and his wife, Joan had lived in central and southern California. He was an Interior Decorator, Furniture Designer, and Home Builder. He later worked as a Real Estate Broker. He was a member of the Elk's Club and the Masonic Lodge in Compton. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was stationed at Forbes Field in Topeka. He was an avid fisherman and longed to get his boat on nearby Banner Lake.
Mr. Hall was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Senior Citizen's Center c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436
