HOLTON – Richard D. "Dick" Chatham, 72, of Holton died Friday, March 24, 2006 in Topeka.
He was born March 11, 1934 in Harveyville the son of Mike and Izora Fouts Chatham. He graduated from Harveyville High School. He was a salesman for Proctor & Gamble. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Holton.
Richard married Connie Leep on November 12, 1977 in Holton. She survives. He is survived by step-daughter, Kim McMahon of Overland Park; step-son, Kevin Caughron of Topeka; twin brother, Robert Chatham of Emporia and brother Max Chatham of Topeka; sister, Beth Faulk of Salina; grandchildren, Megan Caughron, Morgan McMahon, Taylor McMahon, and Hunter Caughron.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends Monday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. www.mercerfuneralhomes.com
