RAYMOND E HAMM

Raymond E. Hamm, 95, Valley Falls, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Village Villa in Nortonville.
Mr. Hamm had farmed north of Valley Falls.
He was born on Nov. 28, 1911, at Fort Morgan, CO, the son of John Edward and Alice Parker Nichols Hamm. His family moved to Valley Falls in 1916. He graduated from Prairie Hall Grade School and attended Nortonville High School.
During WW IIhe was an ambulance driver for the Medical Corp in Europe. He was a member of Grahem-Herbers Post 3084 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Valley Falls and the Denison Bible Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Howard Hamm and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Bragg. Survivors include three nephews, Robert Bragg, Anderson, CA, Donald Bragg, Prescott, AZ, Larry Bragg, Tahoe, NV, and a niece, Alondra Boehler, Wickenberg, AZ. Cremation is planned.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2007, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will be at the Nortonville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Denison Bible Church and sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, 810 Broadway, Valley Falls, KS 66088.
