Randall "Randy" Spencer Nott, 65, of Wetmore, KS, passed away at his home, Friday, December 5, 2025. He was born April 22, 1960 in Seneca, KS, the son of Clements Claudean Sr. and Mary Francis (Chrisman) Nott.
He graduated from Wetmore High School in 1978. He learned leather work in high school and enjoyed making items for his family and friends.
Randy worked for Rockwell International for several years before leaving and going to work for Luckeroth Masonry in Seneca, KS. Upon leaving Luckeroth, he was hired at Penwell-Gable Cemetery where he helped maintain the cemetery. In Randy's later years, he worked at Fairview Farms and would retire due to his health.
Randy helped out his friends with many projects, including his good friends, Leland and Ruth Porter on their farms. He spent many years taking care of his parents and he was always available and willing to help family and friends with anything they needed. He was a collector of hot wheel cars and motorcycles.
Randy was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Wetmore Men's Club and the Goff Old Men's Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mary Nott and a sister, Edwina Collins.
Survivors include, a brother, Dean Nott; three sisters, Claudia Murphy, Pam Heckerson (Roger) and Paula Rogers; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Randy as well as a "Last Ride" will take place in the spring of 2026. Mercer Funeral Home is assisting the family. Cards of condolence may be sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
