Ralph E. Raaf, 81, of Holton, KS, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Promise Long Term Acute Care in Overland Park, KS. He was born March 27, 1940 in Gridley, KS, the son of Sam and Ella (Knapp) Raaf.

Ralph graduated from Burlington High School in 1958. He lived in the Holton Community since 1967. Ralph retired from Kansas Department of Transportation as Engineering Technician. He was a member of the Kansas Prairie Pickers.

Ralph married Linda Kay Bentley on May 26, 1961 in Miami, OK. She preceded him in death on February 9, 2008; after 47 years of marriage.

Survivors include son, Tony Raaf (Michelle) of Holton, KS; daughter, Cindy Delfelder (Jim) Meriden, KS; sister, Emily Garrett of Burlington, KS; brother, Clarence Raaf of Wichita, KS; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Holton Cemetery. Ralph will lie in state beginning Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday until 6:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Heart of Jackson Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
