Phillip E. Clark, 88, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the Rossville Healthcare & Rehab in Rossville, KS. Phillip was born December 24, 1937 in Hemingford, Nebraska, the son of Howard W. and Tressie (Fiester) Clark.
Phil married Sharon Jean Fowler on December 21, 1962 at the First Christian Church in Junction City, KS. The shared 39 years of marriage before Sharon passed away on December 28, 2001. To this union they shared four children, Gina, Terry, Carla and Tracy.
Phil worked for the Jackson Farmers COOP in Holton for over 35 years, retiring in 2000 as the feed truck driver. He took much joy in fishing but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sharon; daughter, Carla Clark; sister, Edith Grimm; and three brothers, Willard Arnold Clark, Ralph E. Clark and Ellsworth Clark; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Edwards.
Survivors include a daughter, Gina Tessendorf (Larry) of Circleville, KS; two sons, Terry Clark (Nikki) of Grove Springs, FL and Tracy Clark (Mandi) of Topeka, KS; 10 grandchildren, Kristina Strawn (Justin), Katherine Jones, Karsin Clark, Jessica Reveles (Hugo), Mark Tessendorf, Tyler Clark, Myranda Carswell (Justin) Ethan Clark and Evan Clark; and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Burial will follow to the Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, May 4, 2026 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Jefferson County Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
