Peggy J. Denny, 69, Soldier, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at the Holton Community Hospital.
She was born on June 14, 1940, at Denver, CO, the daughter of Harry and Rachel Farnham Krausman. She graduated from West High School in Denver.
Peggy was a homemaker. She had been an accountant for several car dealerships in Denver. She was a member of the Soldier Christian Church.
She married Joseph W. Denny on Aug. 30, 1986, at Thornton, CO. He survives. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Krausman, and two brothers, Karl Krausman and Wade Krausman.
Survivors include four sons, Brian Kiefer and Kurt (Dawn) Kiefer, both of Soldier, Brett (Jonette) Kiefer, Goff, and Joseph W. Denny II, Kansas City, MO; a daughter Valerie (Darren) Tolin, Topeka; her mother, Rachel Krausman, Soldier; a brother, Harry "Hank" (Joan) Krausman, Lakewood, CO; and seven grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at the Soldier Christian Church. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
