Paul Lee Ray, 78, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born August 29, 1940 in Holton, KS, the son of Avery L. and Mildred M. (Martin) Ray.

Paul attended Bell Country School, southwest of Mayetta and graduated from Mayetta High School in 1958.
He was a lifelong member of the Mayetta community as a farmer and stockman.

Survivors include his caretaker, Eldon Darnell (Judy) of Mayetta, KS; a sister, Joyce Stanford of Georgia; a brother, Elroy Ray of St. Joseph, MO and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Jean Peters, Erma Miller and Marjorie Starkey.

A graveside inurnment will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Mayetta Cemetery.
