Patrick Arthur Cummings, 84, of Omaha, NE, formerly of Valley Falls, KS, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, NE. He was born October 25, 1935 in Mayetta, KS, the son of William P. and Mirva (Morris) Cummings.

Patrick attended Valley Falls schools and spent most of his life in Valley Falls. He was a carpenter for various cabinet companies. Patrick proudly served in the United States Air Force.

He married Betty Mae Weber on May 23, 1964 in Scottsdale, AZ; they later divorced. He married Betty Joe "B.J." in 2002 in Hibbing, MN; she preceded him in death on 2017. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ann and brothers, David, Kenneth, Joseph and Lawrence.

Survivors include his 11 children, David Cummings (Tina) of Phoenix, AZ, Dolores Cummings (Matt) of Topeka, KS, Carolyn Spicka (Jim) of Topeka, KS, Jeff Cummings of Hibbing, MN, Julie Deiter (Rich) of Topeka, KS, Patrick Cummings (Angela) of Omaha, NE, Andrew Cummings (Rachel) of Muskogee, OK, Mary Ritchie (Rohn) of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Monica Stillie (Rick) of Delta Junction, AK, Christopher Cummings (Stacey) of Topeka, KS and Gregory Cummings (Rebecca) of Windham, ME; 2 sisters, Marilyn and Barbara; 4 brothers, Mike, Billy, Paul and Steve and 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Valley Falls. Family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls.
