Patrick W. Brown

Patrick William Brown, 32, of Wetmore, KS, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 27, 2026 at Holton Hospital ER. He was born February 23, 1994 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Daniel S. Brown, Sr. and Dawn Roxann (Livingston) Brown.

Patrick graduated from Wetmore High School in 2012. He attended Highland Community College, earning his Associates Degree in Graphic Design and Engineering.

He had worked for USC in Sabetha as an Engineer and formerly for SKF in Seneca as a Press Operator and Spin Former.

Patrick found joy in the outdoors and cherished time spent fishing, hunting, and searching for arrowheads. He also loved spending countless hours in the garage with his dad, Shawn, and many friends. He had a playful personality and affectionately referred to Kimberly as his "old lady," teasing her throughout the 16 years they shared together. The Fourth of July was one of his favorite holidays, and he believed it should always end with a loud boom. Above all else, Patrick treasured being a father. Nothing brought him greater happiness than playing with and spending time with his three sons, who were the center of his world.

Survivors include his parents, Daniel, Sr. and Dawn Brown of Wetmore, KS; wife, Kimberly J. Diehl of the home; 3 sons, Braxton M. Brown, Maverick R.M. Brown and Hayden T. Brown all of the home; 2 brothers, Daniel S. Brown, Jr. and Samuel G. Brown both of Wetmore, KS and paternal grandparents, Bill and Deb Brown of Soldier, KS.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Leo L. Brown and maternal grandparents, LaVern and Elsie Livingston.

Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2026 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Kimberly Diehl to help with expenses.
