Patricia Cannon Welch, 59, of Holton, KS passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at University of Kansas Health St. Francis Campus. She was born May 2, 1958 in Charlotte, N.C. the daughter of Joe Edgar and Ruth Clementine (Hearn) Cannon.

Patricia had lived in the Holton community for 2 months to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law; she previously lived in Dallas, N.C. for most of her life. She was owner and operator of Superior Cleaning in N.C. for 6 years. Patricia was a former member of Revival Tabernacle Church in N.C.

She married Steve L. Welch; he preceded her in death on November 18, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include 3 sons, Adam Welch (Carrie) of Holton, KS, Jack Sides, Jr. and John Sides both of Charlotte, N.C.; 3 sisters, Sandra Cannon, Twila Arrendale and Kelly Cannon all of N.C.; 2 brothers, Joe and David Cannon of N.C. and 3 grandchildren, Jack, Cheyenne and Jacob.

Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to Medicalodges Jackson County Church Service Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
