Patricia Ann "Patsy" Clemetson, 63, of Olathe, KS passed away May 6, 2010 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born May 23, 1946 in Atchison, KS the daughter of Bernard Lee and Ora Patricia Brownlee Hennis.
She graduated from ACCHS in 1964. She had lived in the Olathe community since 1987 and previously in Englishtown, N.J., Greensboro, N.C. and Atlanta, GA. Patsy was an executive secretary for Sprint/Embarq for 21 years in Overland Park. She was a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church, an organizer for Ozanam Holiday Gala for the past 6 years and a former 4-H leader.
She married Gerald Benson Clemetson on December 5, 1966 in Lawrence, KS. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2001. She was also preceded by her brother, Ken Hennis.
Survivors include her mother, Pat Hennis of Holton, KS; a son, Darren Oliver Clemetson of Olathe, KS; a sister, Janice Moulden of Topeka, KS and four brothers, Ron Hennis of Mayetta, KS, Frank Hennis of Normal, IL, Bill Hennis of Byron, IL and Roger Hennis of Mayetta, KS.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Heritage United Methodist Church in Overland Park, KS. Family will greet friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton and from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
