Patricia Anne Meyer, 56, of Soldier, KS passed away January 11, 2011 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born February 11, 1954 in Marysville, KS, the daughter of Nick and Virginia Gunther Vogelsberg. She graduated from Marysville High School. She had lived in the Soldier community since 1979 and was a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton.
Patricia married Terry L. Meyer on October 27, 1973 in Beattie, KS. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Brian James Meyer of Soldier, KS, Scott Michael Meyer of Topeka, KS and a daughter, Jamie Lynne Meyer of Grain Valley, MO; four sisters, Cathie Myers of Frankfort, KS, Susan Fischer of Summerfield, KS, Donna Mazour of Deweese, NE and Laura Vogelsberg of Kansas City, KS; three brothers, Tom Vogelsberg and David Vogelsberg both of Marysville, KS and Mark Vogelsberg of Topeka, KS and three grandchildren, Hailey, Taden and Tanner Huerter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday evening at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with visitation to follow. Interment will be in the Soldier Cemetery.
