Patricia Ann Ferrell, 79, Valley Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born on Aug. 25, 1932, at Valley Falls, the daughter of Peter and Anna J. Sieh Stein. She graduated from Valley Falls High School.
Pat was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Valley Falls and St. Mary's Altar Society.
She married Keith D. Ferrell on May 6, 1952, at Rodgers, AR. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil Stein, Edwin Stein, Donald Stein and Clayton Stein, and a sister, Betty Canderia.
Survivors include her husband, Keith, of the home; her daughter, Deborah (Terry) Scarlett, Valley Falls; two grandsons, Chad Scarlett and Brian Scarlett; four great-grandchildren, Anna and Dalton Scarlett, and Laurann and Rory Scarlett and two sisters, Irma Steinmetz, Overland Park, and Viola Howard, Lawrence;
The Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Valley Falls. Burial will follow at the Valley Falls Cemetery. A Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, at the church before the service.
