HOLTON- Pamela Kay McMaster, 50, of Topeka, formerly of Holton, died Thursday, May 15, 2008. She was born August 12, 1957 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Bennie Ray and Alice Massey McMaster.
She graduated from Holton High School in 1976 and received a physical therapy degree from Penn-Foster College. She was a CMA at Holton Manor, Jackson County Nursing Home and the VA Hospital in Topeka. She had also worked at Dollar General Store in Holton.
She married Doug Brownfield. They later divorced. She was engaged to Michael Scroggins, to be married on July 4, 2008. He survives. Other survivors include her mother, Alice McMaster of Topeka, KS; a son, Mathew Brownfield of Topeka, KS; 2 daughters, Sally Overturf and Donald of Bern, KS, Cissy Rice of Topeka; a sister, Angie Carlson and Bob of Topeka, KS; a brother, Donnie McMaster and Cynthia of Marysville, KS; and 5 grandchildren Stephanie and Micheal Rice, Bethany and Christine Smith and Benjerman Holmes.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 7-8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Pamela McMaster Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
