Circleville-Orlan Gibson, 97, of Circleville, KS passed away March 10, 2008 at the Community Hospital in Onaga, KS. He was born May 15, 1910 in Halls Summitt, KS the son of James Richard and Lena Madden Gibson.
He lived most of his life in the Circleville community as a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M.in Circleville, KS.
He married Wilma Glick on December 12, 1929 in Topeka, KS. She passed away May 26, 2007. He was also preceded in death by an infant son Kenneth Dale Gibson and a brother Frank Gibson in 2006.
Survivors include a son Allan Gibson of Tucson, AZ; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends one prior to the service on Friday.
