Neva Fraley, 54, of Circleville died Sunday August 14, 2011 at Holton Community Hospital. She was born January 17, 1957 in Holton, Kansas the daughter of Clyde William and Louise (Schlodder) Fernkopf. She graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 1975 and later obtained a computer programming degree from Kaw Area Technical School in Topeka. Neva married Arcle Mythice Fraley, Jr. on October 16, 1976 in Circleville. She was a lifetime member of Jackson County Historical Society and attended Circleville United Methodist Church.
Neva is survived by her husband, Arcle of the home; her mother Louise Fernkopf of Holton; her daughters, Jolene Colette Bextel (C.J.) of Rose Hill, KS and Brandy Janelle Fraley of Topeka, KS; her sisters, AnnaWilhelm (Virgil) of Holton, KS, Mary Boyles (Steve) of Topeka, KS; her brothers, John Fernkopf (Jane) of Topeka, KS and Fred Fernkopf (Sheila) of Holton, KS; her grandson, William Mythice Shaffer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Private family burial was in Holton Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Evangel United Methodist Church in Holton.
