Nancy J. Rieschick, 76, of Havensville, KS passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan. She was born April 2, 1938 in Springfield, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Matthews) Sherman.
Nancy attended schools in Bethel, OH. She worked in housekeeping for various nursing homes and volunteered as an Ombudsman.
Nancy married Robert Rieschick on September 28, 1963 in Hardeeville, SC. He survives of the home. Other survivors include a sister, Sharon Hughes of Brimstone, OH and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Linda Sherman and a brother, Joseph Sherman.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Bucks Grove Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Bucks Grove Methodist Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
