Nancy Rene Martin, 59, of Holton, KS, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. She was born November 6, 1962 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Gerald Lee and Veronica Mary Kadese (Shoptese) Martin.

Nancy graduated from Holton in High School in 1980. She worked at various restaurants as a waitress and bartender. Most recently she was a home health live-in attendant.

During her younger and school age years, she attended St. Dominic Catholic Church. She was a member of Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Rick Cochran.

Survivors include her son, Dakota "Cody" Cochran (Macaela Lewis) of Netawaka, KS; granddaughter, Arianna Cochran; brother, Mark Martin of Holton, KS; 3 nephews, Derek, David and Daniel Martin and a niece, Stacie Martin.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
