Myron Earl Turner, 75, of Holton, KS, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his home. He was born July 13, 1950 in Colby, KS, the son of Earl Everett and Ethel Mae (Smith) Turner.
Myron attended Holton High School after moving to Topeka, he graduated from Topeka High School in 1969. He graduated from Statistical Process Control Training and International Standards Organization (ISO) School in Denver, CO.
In the 1970’s he worked for Tractor Supply Company as a Regional Inventory Controller in Kansas City, MO. In the 1980’s he worked for Lubripac Oil Company as Vice-President of Quality Assurance in Houston, TX. In the 1990’s worked for Slick 50 Oil Company as Vice President of Quality Assurance in Houston, TX. He moved back to Holton, KS in the mid 1990’s and was owner and operator of the Lone Spur Saloon. From 1999- 2012 he was owner and operator of GulfTex Lawn in Lake Jackson, TX.
Myron enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his son, Bryon E. Turner; daughter, Anna Turner; 2 brothers, Roger Turner (MaryAnn) of New Mexico and Larry Turner (Gail) of California and nieces and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Craig Turner.
Private family services will be at a later date. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
