Mildred D. Eby, 97, of Mayetta died Saturday, May 5, 2007 at her home. She was born August 4, 1909 in Williamstown. She was the daughter of Clarence and Lilla Stone Wells. She was a member of the Potawatomi United Methodist Church.
Mildred married Arthur E. Eby on April 17, 1938 in Soldier. He preceded her in death on March 26, 2001. She was also preceded by five brothers and one sister. She is survived by sons, Larry Eby and his wife Donna of Mayetta, and Gene Eby and his wife Anita of Mayetta; daughter, Leetha Smith of Mayetta; ten grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Rossville Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
