Topeka—Michelle Marin, 19, of Topeka, died Monday, July 24, 2006 at KU Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1987 in Fresno, California, the daughter of Juan Jose Marin and Maria Eduviges Reyes Garcia.
She attended Jackson Heights High School. She lived in Topeka and was a mother and a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Maribel Flores of the home, a fiancé Matthew Flores of Topeka, her parents; siblings, Mari of California, Teresa of California, Roy of California, George Alvarado of Topeka, Stephanie Marin of Texas, Juan Marin of Netawaka, Pamela Marin of Mexico, Mark Marin of Netawaka, and Franky Retana of Netawaka.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Netawaka Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
